A delegation of the We-Fi Secretariat recently visited the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and its private sector arm ICD. Discussions focused on support to women entrepreneurs in fragile and conflict-affected countries. Implementation of the BRAVE Women program has started in Yemen, under very challenging circumstances, where women entrepreneurs receive training and funding on a matching grant basis. The IsDB and ICD will implement soon the BRAVE Women program in two other countries to improve the potential of women’s entrepreneurship in key economic sectors. Read More
