In 2025, We-Fi, in partnership with its six Implementing Partners, continued to champion women entrepreneurs as powerful drivers of job creation, economic growth, and market expansion. By helping remove legal, cultural, and structural barriers, We-Fi supports women-led businesses with the financing, skills, and market access needed to grow and compete. At the same time, the WE Finance Code continued to gain global momentum, bringing together financial institutions, policymakers, and ecosystem partners to expand access to finance for women entrepreneurs.
To date, We-Fi has catalyzed over $7 billion in financing for more than 600,000 women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (WSMEs) across 81 countries, working with more than 1,100 public and private-sector partners. The WE Finance Code is now active in 33 countries with over 400 financial service provider signatories, reflecting growing global commitment within the financial sector to advance women’s economic participation. Covering the period July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, this report highlights the stories of women entrepreneurs and the diverse initiatives supported by We-Fi Implementing Partners—demonstrating how investing in women entrepreneurs strengthens economies and creates opportunities for all.
