We-Fi seeks to promote evidence-based approaches to program, product, and policy design to achieve sustainable impact for women entrepreneurs by facilitating the sharing, analysis, creation, use of evidence and knowledge. We-Fi aims to catalyze new evidence to better understand “what works in getting more and effective debt financing to WSMEs and how it impacts WSMEs in terms of business growth, job creation, and women’s empowerment”.
To this end, We-Fi encourages new research which can be applied by partitioners, policymakers, and intermediaries in the following interrelated areas: Debt financing, bundled services, digital finance, blended finance, and sex-disaggregated data. Read more about these priority areas including detailed questions in the We-Fi research agenda.
